Scheerer Bearing of Horsham, Penn., manufactures ball and cylindrical roller bearings from 2-in. bore up to 65-in. outer diameter. Ball bearings include radial, angular contact, and ball thrust types. Roller bearing types include radial, single, double, and multi row, journal, cross-roller. Roller thrust bearings include self-aligning, single, double, and combination acting, and crane hook. Scheerer also does modifications and repairs on all brands of bearings. Main markets include paper mills, crushers and the aggregate industry, steel mills, oil field applications, corrugator equipment, stamping press equipment, and other heavy industry. Scheerer can interchange other manufacturer’s numbers, work from a print, or reverse engineer a bearing from a sample. The company also can interchange all major brands, including SKF, FAG, Torrington, American Roller Bearing, INA and Rollway.
