Linear actuator comes in miniature version

A manufacturer of non-ball lead screws, Kerk Motion Products has introduced a miniature addition to its ScrewRail linear actuator line. Featuring an outside diameter of 0.375 in., the Mini ScrewRail is designed for use in data storage, semiconductor, photonics and medical equipment applications where accurate positioning in a confined space is required. TFE coating and self-lubricating nut/bushing materials ensure long life without maintenance. This linear actuator is available with a wide range of screw leads, in both standard and self-compensating anti-backlash assemblies.
