Materion Receives Best Supplier Award

SINGAPORE

The Advanced Materials group of Materion Corporation (NYSE:MTRN) was recently honored as “Best Supplier” by WuXi ZhongWeiMicrochips Co. Ltd., a manufacturer and supplier of a range of electronic components based in Wuxi, Jiangsu, China. The award was in acknowledgement of Materion’s outstanding products and service.

During 2015, Materion facilities in Singapore, China, and Buffalo, New York (USA) were key materials suppliers to WuXi ZhongWei of Combo-LidsTM, Materion’s high-performance hermetic microelectronic packages and frame assemblies. The high quality of the products and Materion’s strong support in executing precise requirements were cited as reasons for the award.

Upon receiving news of the award, Materion Advanced Materials President Donald G. Klimkowicz commented: “This honor highlights the accomplishments of global team work by dedicated Materion employees in multiple locations. The Award was presented by WuXi ZhongWei’s Vice President, WuGang to Materion’s Keven Zhou, China Sales Manager and Ramesh Kothandapani, Applications Manager at a ceremony held at the WuXi ZhongWei facility.
