Alion Files Registration Statement for Proposed Initial Public Offering

Alion Science and Technology Corporation (“Alion” or the “Company”), a global engineering, technology and operational solutions company, announced today that it has filed a registration statement with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (“SEC”) for an initial public offering of its common stock. The number of shares and price range of the proposed offering have not yet been determined.
