Electromechanical Wrap Spring Clutch Has Attractive Price

Danaher Motion has introduced the Deltran PT DuraLife-33 electromagnetic wrap spring clutch that combines high torque, reliability and rapid acceleration in one small, competitively-priced package. The wrap spring technology allows for fast response to bring loads from zero to full speed in less than 3 milliseconds, depending on the application load requirements. It provides 3.4 Nm (30 lb/in.) of torque over a cycle life of 1 million actuations. Options include CW or CCW direction, cross pin, D shaft, four bore sizes, three voltages and two electrical connection choices. This drop-in unit is designed for low wattage consumption, and easy mechanical and electrical assembly.
