Metallurgical Sensors appoints COO

Metallurgical Sensors (Metsen) appointed Shiva Bissoon as chief operating officer and vice-president of sales and business development. Bissoon was most recently the company’s general manager and sales and business development director.

Since joining the company in 2019, Bissoon has led new business activities for Metsen. Bissoon brings over a decade of sales and business development experience to his new role as COO. Bissoon has a background in global manufacturing, applications engineering, mechanical engineering, metallurgy, quality management, and design.

Bissoon is an executive board member of the Toronto-Humber chapter of PEO and fellow of the professional engineers ontario (FEC, P.Eng), a certified fluid power hydraulic specialist (CFPHS), and a member of the association for iron and steel technology (AIST).
