EMC Names New President at Conference

Jean Pierre Giroux, has been named as President at EMC, taking over from Shawn Casemore, who held the role for the past two years.
Giroux has been National Director of Skills and Development with EMC for the past six years. He has held positions of increasing responsibility with economic development, NGO, management consulting and manufacturing organizations throughout Canada.
He started as an economic development officer in Canada’s Capital Region, and has over 20-years experience developing innovative workplace performance-based solutions for the Canadian manufacturing sector.
Giroux holds a Bachelor of Business Administration and a Master in Science, specializing in Human Resources and Industrial Relations.
Casemore will continue to be an active member of the EMC team and network, and will provide support with various programs and projects.
