DuPont has introduced a Molykote brand adhesive grease paste formulated for sliding surfaces.
Molykote P-1042 adhesive grease paste can be used in metal-to-metal applications in environments with high heat and humidity; as it has a service temperature range of -25°C to 120°C as a paste and more than 500°C as a solid lubricant. It offers load-carrying capability, adhesion to metallic surfaces, and resistance to water and steam washout.
