Willis comes to Zinwave as a recognized telecommunications leader and has over 30 years’ executive-level experience with leading technology firms and network operators including Ericsson, Nokia, BellSouth and Sprint. He is a proven global leader with a demonstrated track record in building successful businesses. Scott brings the right balance of leadership, operational and technical expertise, and enthusiasm for building customer relationships to elevate Zinwave to be a global leader in its industry.

Previously, Willis was Executive Vice President, Chief Sales and Marketing Executive for Goodman Networks, a privately held leader in the design, engineering, deployment, and integration of wireless communications networks. Prior to Goodman, he was Executive Vice President and General Manager at Ericsson. Willis has also held senior positions at Nokia, BellSouth, Sprint, as well as KeyBridge, a smaller global corporation in the communications field.

“With its unique wideband distributed antenna system based on advanced photonics and wideband amplification technology developed by world-class researchers, Zinwave is a strong technology leader and innovator in the DAS space,” said Willis. “I look forward to translating that leadership into broader market success.”

Zinwave’s wideband DAS supports any combination of wireless and IP services between 150MHz-2700MHz on a one layer infrastructure, regardless of protocol or modulation scheme. It is also the only system to support multiple FDD and TDD LTE services simultaneously across any spectrum allocated globally.
