SOLVAY’s NOCOLOK® Business Unit Moves One Step Closer to Customers in the Americas

October 23, 2015 | By Business Wire News

HOUSTON

Chemical producer Solvay has assumed control of its specialty flux pastes, flux paints, and corrosive flux products distribution channel in the Americas for its Nocolok® business unit’s product line to improve service to customers throughout the region.

Solvay’s Nocolok® product line is used primarily in the manufacture of aluminum heat exchangers in the automotive, HVAC, and power generation markets.

Effective August 1st, 2015, Solvay can offer its full line of products directly to its customers. It has terminated its distribution agreement with Flux Schweiss und Loetstoffe LLC, located in Eldon, Missouri, whose products were recently sold under the brand name Solvay Flux GmbH (Former Flux Schweiss und Lötstoffe GmbH).

“This recent action demonstrates Solvay’s customer focus strategy following its acquisition of Flux Schweiß- und Lötstoffe GmbH (Flux) in October 2014, which bolstered Solvay’s product portfolio in the field of aluminum brazing,” explained Manos Eliades, Solvay’s North America commercial manager for Nocolok® powders, paints and pastes.

He added, “As we are the original manufacturer of these products, the termination allows Solvay to be ‘One Step Closer to Customers in the Americas,’ which will result in the continued tradition of working directly with our customer at every step of their process, delivering both quality of service and innovative products in the field of aluminum brazing.

“This step enables Solvay to better facilitate customer feedback and provide direct-line service to its customers and emphasizes its commitment to customer service and support.”
