SMK Electronics to Showcase Advanced Automotive In-Dash Displays and External High Definition Camera Modules at International CES 2016

Advanced Touch-Interface Displays and HD Camera Modules

New this week at CES, SMK Electronics will be demonstrating a variety of advanced automotive in-dash touch-panel controls including capacitive models utilizing advanced curved-surface displays, super-sensitivity models using thickened display cover designs to enable gloved finger operation, and a unique new haptic feedback model providing a seamless, curved, illuminated display powered by SMK’s proprietary ‘Piezo-electronic’ sensing technology.

Additionally, SMK will demonstrate a new family of Megapixel CMOS automotive cameras. Producing non-compressed digital streaming @ 30fps over a wide range of viewing angles, SMK’s IP67-rated camera modules feature water-repellent antifouling lens coatings to reduce grime accumulation and improve performance. Manufactured and supported locally, SMK’s cost-effective camera modules are designed for easy integration into automotive rear- and front-view vision systems.
