Samsung SDI Attends NeoCon, the Largest Interiors Show in North America

Samsung SDI Co. Ltd. (KRX:006400), took part in NeoCon, the largest commercial interiors show in North America, which is being held in Chicago, June 15-17.

Samsung SDI showcased a range of practical interior products built upon its premium solid surface brand Staron.

Major items on display included reception desk, image wall, sofa & table, chair & table, book shelf and display partition. In particular, the company carved and crafted a complete set of interior items such as image wall and furniture based only on its solid surface. No other materials like wood and glass are used for the items at the show, stressing the company’s key concept: “Providing a Simple Solution to Complex Design Challenges” among visitors.

Samsung SDI has been focusing on collaboration between solid surfaces and design. Since 2012, the company has participated in various global industrial materials exhibitions including Milan Furniture Fair, one of the three biggest shows in the industry; 100% Design, the largest design trade event in Britain; Covering and HD Expo in the United States. Samsung’s activities in recent years greatly contributed to helping professionals in architecture and design industries to understand the excellent processibility of solid surfaces and their versatile applications in different categories.

Samsung SDI’s Staron is a homogeneous material with strong resistance to chemicals and pollution. Staron, known for its excellent dimensional flexibility, can be processed into seamless and curved final products, offering great benefits to customers. Samsung SDI has acquired international quality control and environment management certification for Staron products. At the same time, the company is offering the engineered stone brand Radianz in order to meet the customer demand for high-quality materials.
