Richardson RFPD Appoints Georg Brüderl Managing Director for EMEA

Richardson RFPD, a global electronic component distributor with specialization in RF and wireless, energy management and industrial IoT, today announced that Georg Brüderl has been appointed managing director for EMEA, filling a new role for the company. Effective immediately, Georg will lead Richardson RFPD’s strategic growth and business development initiatives for the entire EMEA region, including the continued expansion of local field sales teams by adding specialized technical sales and experienced support resources.

A semiconductor industry veteran with over 25 years of experience, Georg most recently held a leadership role with NXP, where he was responsible for strategic business planning and sales leadership across Central, Northern and Eastern Europe. His primary focus was on building profitable supplier relationships and regional business growth. Georg’s prior career experience also includes various management roles at National Semiconductor and experience as a hardware and software engineer. Georg holds degrees in both Electrical Engineering and Business Administration from the University of Applied Sciences Munich and a Ph.D. in Economics and Corporate Management from State University of Economics, Bratislava.

In his new role with Richardson RFPD, Georg becomes the company’s legal representative for EMEA, responsible for creating and executing multiyear business plans targeting regional growth.
