Safety & Health Expo is delighted to announce that in 2016 the Professional Clothing Show will be incorporated onto the show floor at the event, creating the most comprehensive offering within the UK of professional clothing, workwear and personal protective equipment. Taking place from 21-23 June 2016 at ExCeL London, Safety & Health Expo continues to cement its position as the National show for the safety and health industry.

The Professional Clothing Show is the only dedicated exhibition for buyers, specifiers and suppliers in the working garment industry to source the latest developments in clothing and equipment in the UK, and partnering with Safety & Health Expo will enhance the opportunity for industry professionals to access the cutting edge products of the 32 million garments produced each year.  In addition, the Professional Clothing Awards will also join Safety & Health Expo at ExCeL London. This glittering black tie gala recognises the latest innovations and achievements in the professional clothing industry and will be an excellent addition to this celebration of health and safety.

Yvette Ashby, Managing Director, Professional Clothing Show and Awards commented: “To be able to partner with such as well established, well respected and productive show within our industry will give the professional clothing industry a firm foundation to build on both nationally and internationally.

“This move will also allows the professional clothing industry to now stand tall amongst some of the most well known exhibitions in our arena but also bring something new to the table for the event’s existing exhibitors and attendees and take advantage of the opportunity to reach out to a wider audience as we take the Professional Clothing Show and Awards to the next level in 2016.”

In 2015 Safety & Health Expo celebrated a hugely successful show that saw a 43% increase in visitors to the show from the previous year. A major highlight of Safety & Health Expo 2015 was SHE Live! which returned for a second year and showcased the latest PPE equipment down a specially built catwalk. Injecting even more fun to the show floor, models and dancers took to the stage to demonstrate key features of the latest PPE and workwear products.

Heather Beach, director of the OSH portfolio at UBM EMEA, said: “PPE and workwear is consistently highlighted as a key priority for our Safety & Health Expo visitors, in 2015 we dedicated over 30% of floor space to latest designs and innovations within this sector and we look forward to expanding that this year. Working with the Professional Clothing Show ensures that this year we will have a really strong offering, enhancing our already fantastic showcase of the PPE and workwear market from 2015.”

Safety & Health Expo will be presented once again as part of UBM EMEA’s Protection & Management Series, the UK’s largest event dedicated to protecting and managing property, people and information. The series incorporates major events including Safety & Health Expo along with IFSEC International, FIREX International, Facilities Show and Service Management Expo, annually attracting more than 40,000 attendees over three days to ExCeL London.
