Logic PD Achieves Rigorous Nadcap AC7120 Accreditation for Minnesota Facilities

A rigorous process that provides independent certification of manufacturing processes for aerospace, defense and related industries, the accreditation demonstrates Logic PD’s commitment to customer satisfaction and meeting stringent industry specifications.

Nadcap, (formerly NADCAP – the National Aerospace and Defense Contractors Accreditation Program) is the leading, worldwide cooperative program of major companies designed to manage a cost effective consensus approach to special processes and products and provide continual improvement within the aerospace industry. Managed by the Performance Review Institute’s (PRI), Nadcap is based on checklists focused on workmanship standards and ensuring blind processes are consistent.

In order to pursue Nadcap accreditation, organizations must have already earned AS9100 quality management system certification, a set of general quality management system requirements for the aerospace and defense industry. The Nadcap AC7120 accreditation, specific to the printed circuit board assembly process, consists of a rigorous set of more than 450 process requirements used to ensure that all companies certified can meet or exceed specific requirements for aerospace and defense applications.
