Joe Canterbury, Former Starbucks Executive, Joins HeatGenie Board of Directors

Austin-based developer of convenience packaging technology, HeatGenie, announced today that Joe Canterbury, former Starbucks Executive, has joined the company’s Board of Directors as an independent director.

Canterbury’s global business experience includes VP of Global Business Development at Starbucks, where he spent eleven years expanding the Retail and Consumer Goods businesses across Europe, Latin America and Asia. He is currently SVP, Business Development for Appconomy, a China –focused mobile commerce and marketing innovator and is President of Chaucer Investments, through which he invests in and actively advises multiple emerging consumer companies and brands. Prior to Starbucks, he worked for Mercedes-Benz in Germany and Singapore. Canterbury brings expertise in International Retail, Food Service, Consumer Goods and Mobile Technology.
