JENSEN HUGHES Subsidiary in China, RJA Fire Protection Technology Consulting, Receives Special Certification

JENSEN HUGHES’ subsidiary, RJA Fire Protection Technology Consulting, in Shanghai, China is in the first select group to receive approval under the new government regulations for certification of fire protection consultants. Criteria for approval included individual and company credentials, site surveys, documentation review and experience with both international best practices and local knowledge that was evaluated by an expert panel led by officials from the Shanghai Fire Department. This certification is Level 1 (highest) and will allow the company to provide its services throughout all of China.

The services provided will include code analysis, performance-based design and fire modeling, special design analysis and evaluation, fire risk assessment and fire hazard rectification.
