Epilog Laser Launches New Fusion M2 & eView Camera Module™

March 10, 2015 | By Business Wire News

GOLDEN, Colo.

Epilog Laser, the leading designer and manufacturer of CO2 and fiber laser engraving, cutting and marking systems, today launched the Fusion M2 laser. This dual-source laser system also features Epilog’s new eView Camera Module, which is the simplest, most intuitive, and most precise tool for cutting pre-printed/processed graphics on a variety of substrates.

“The Fusion M2 is a very exciting addition to our current product line,” said Mike Dean, vice president of sales and marketing at Epilog Laser. “Regardless of material – whether it’s wood, titanium, rubber, fabric, steel or a combination of several substrates – our customers now have a single system that will process all these materials, within the same job.”

In addition to high-quality components and unparalleled cutting and engraving results Epilog’s equipment is known for, the Fusion M2 features dedicated optics and a dedicated beam path for each of the laser sources before combining the paths prior to focusing.

With the eView Camera Module, users aren’t relegated to the top left corner of the engraving table and there is no need to align it to the x and y-axes. Operators simply add registration marks to their graphic and the cameras detect exactly where to cut.

“We’re also thrilled to have the new eView Camera Module,” Dean said. “This sophisticated three-camera system makes cutting printed graphics incredibly easy and produces exceptionally precise results from anywhere on the table.”
