Cunningham Lindsey Responds to Storms in Australia

May 4, 2015 | By Business Wire News

HOUSTON

Cunningham Lindsey, a leading global loss adjusting and claim management company, is mobilizing loss adjusters from across its global network to help teams in Australia respond to the thousands of claims generated by last week’s storms.

Cunningham Lindsey has deployed experienced loss adjusting teams and experts from New Zealand, the UK and the US who have recently dealt with large events in their own countries and are highly experienced in the complexities of severe storm losses. Approximately 20 experts will work side by side local Australian experts.

Damon Bennett, CEO Australia, said, “The priority right now is to mitigate and adjust these losses as quickly as possible, so that claims can be paid and life can get back to normal for the hundreds of thousands of people affected by these terrible storms. Capacity is often an issue after a major event, but we are fortunate in that we can mobilize our resources from across the globe to help protect our Clients’ brands. The New Zealand and UK teams have all dealt with their own major events in the last few years, and with the benefit of commonality of process and systems, these teams have recent experience they can bring to bear to deal with the complexities of a wide ranging, major event such as this.”

Cunningham Lindsey US is also assisting with the catastrophe response efforts. “Cunningham Lindsey is strategically prepared for the unique challenges of a catastrophe of this magnitude,” says David Repinski, President and Chief Client Officer of Cunningham Lindsey US. “We are committed to supporting our New Zealand and UK Operations with additional teams of claims representatives and specialized experts where needed. Our extensive resources and organized field operations enable us to effectively manage catastrophe claims and minimize business interruption to our clients.”

Adjusting is not the only service required following a major event. Cunningham Lindsey’s Catastrophe Response Team includes services provided by:

Oriel Property Services provide fixed rate room restoration, flood mitigation and general restoration services.
