Changing Technologies, Inc. (OTCQB: CHGT) hasn’t gotten a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame yet, but it has picked up additional 3D modeling and printing work, continuing its foray into the movie business. The company will now be working on 3D props to be used in an independent short film.
“The film will feature a dynamic, caped superhero,” said CHGT CEO Marco Valenzuela. “However, the hero doesn’t have a 3D printer in his arsenal, so we’re going to give him a helping hand with his on-screen battle against crime. We’ll be doing 3D modeling and printing several key props. We’re starting to build quite a portfolio and gaining notice in the film community. This market should provide a steady pipeline of work as our reputation grows.”
Valenzuela has a decade of entertainment industry experience, particularly in 3D modeling and animation. His contact list has proven quite beneficial in building a growing book of business in that market. Last year, CHGT revealed it was in talks with another studio for 3D prop printing.
Americans continue their love affair with movies – spending an average of nearly $2,600 per year on entertainment – and Hollywood is answering with more films, driving the demand for 3D modeling and props.
