“Jim has tremendous experience in developing performance-based sales teams and has extremely strong relationships in the vertical industries we’ve targeted,” said Laura Owen, CEO of Check-6. “He understands the fundamental changes to sales and marketing in a more connected online world and is ready to drive success for us as our company grows and evolves.”

“Proficiency is discussed in the boardrooms of corporate America now more than ever before. Check-6’s solutions are revolutionizing how companies thrive by significantly reducing human error,” said James Weynand, CRO of Check-6. “Check-6’s holistic Performance Excellence program continues its proven track record in the oil and gas industry, and now the company is gearing up to bring that unique capability to manufacturing, supply chain and construction industries. I am excited to scale this world-class business into new and existing markets and work with such an exceptional team to help enterprises reach their full potential.”

Hired as EVP of Global Technology at Ceva Logistics, Weynand’s team worked to rebuild client relationships with top, Fortune 100 accounts, dramatically increasing client retention. The team effort drove $300 million in new business targets annually, representing nearly a quarter of the $8.5 billion company’s annual revenues.

At Unisys, he orchestrated reorganization and turnaround of Unisys’ North American Commercial sales and operations, driving revenue to $2 billion, reversing five years of stagnant sales and declining profits.

At Hewlett-Packard, he directed a $5 billion, 800-employee business unit responsible for driving growth of personal and enterprise systems and professional services among Federal, State and local government and education entities.

Weynand holds a bachelor’s of business administration degree from the University of North Texas. He is based at Check-6 operations headquarters in Houston.
