Benchmark Communities Announces Grand Opening of New Raleigh Community, Creekside Commons

June 22, 2015 | By Business Wire News

SAN JOSE, Calif.

Benchmark Communities (“Benchmark”), a leading national homebuilder, today announced the grand opening of Creekside Commons, its first selling community in Apex, N.C., a highly desired suburb of Raleigh and a short commute from Research Triangle Park.

Benchmark is building 22 homes reminiscent of the Charleston Row House designs, with large, rocking chair front porches and rear loaded garages attached by covered breezeways. Creekside Commons’ homes feature highly functional three-story floor plans, ranging from 2,052 – 2,082 square feet, with flexible space on the third level, and offer three-to-four bedrooms and up to three-and-a-half bathrooms. The community is characterized by alley entryways, which create attractive streetscapes, and its convenient proximity to historic downtown Apex’s unique shops and restaurants including Beaver Creek Commons. Prices will start in the mid-$200,000’s, and Benchmark is offering up to $10,000 off the base price of each home until June 30th.

“We are excited to announce the grand opening of Creekside Commons, which has been carefully designed to reflect the historic allure of Apex,” said Craig Westmoreland, Division President of Benchmark Communities’ Raleigh Operations. “Creekside Commons offers homebuyers the opportunity to own a highly functional and affordable home in a highly sought town that is just minutes from three major travel corridors, numerous employment centers and premier shopping and dining. Due to the limited number of homes being offered and attractive pricing, we anticipate homes at Creekside Commons will be in high demand for all types of lifestyles, so we encourage interested buyers to contact us today.”

Nicknamed the “Peak of Good Living” due to its location at the highest point on the Chatham Railroad line, Apex is a thriving town with a small town feel that is approximately 15 miles south of Raleigh-Durham International Airport. CNNMoney recently ranked Apex the ninth best place to live in the U.S., citing strong job growth, proximity to the Research Triangle, above average school district and abundance of outdoor activities, including the Peak Town Pig Fest.

Creekside Commons is Benchmark’s first community in Apex and newest addition to its portfolio of selling communities in Raleigh, which includes Kensington Park in Pittsboro, Lakestone Village in Fuquay-Varina and Princeton Manor in Knightdale.
