AccelRate’s battery-charging technology reduces charging time by as much as 80%, and prevents heat generation, extends battery life and prevents memory effect in certain batteries. It also reduces energy costs by more than 10% and provides savings in space and labour. The technology was developed for use with chargers for lead-acid, nickel metal hydrate, nickel cadmium, lithium ion and other specialty batteries powering all sizes of equipment, from cell phones to helicopters. A primary market is in electric vehicles, such as forklifts and automobiles.
