Designed for non-lubricated applications, Metcar 1010 Babbitt mechanical grade bearings are suitable for use in dry or submerged environments at temperatures up to 350F, such as pump and meter bearings, seal rings and thrust washers, guide bushings, and roll bearings for textile and plating equipment. An affordable self-lubricating bearing grade option, these carbon-graphite bearings can be used for high loads at medium speeds and medium loads at high speed. They are non-galling and dimensionally stable, and have high compressive strength. Their resistance to chemicals, good thermal properties and high electrical conductivity make them suitable for use in harsh operating conditions.
