Ringball Expands on Its 50th Anniversary

Ringball Corp. of Mississauga, Ont., is marking its fiftieth anniversary this year by expanding its head office and warehousing operation. The company, which was incorporated in 1953, is adding a separate 65,000 sq ft building to its existing 84,000 sq ft facilities on Meadowpine Blvd. in Mississauga. The new facility is shared by Ringball affiliate Vanguard Steel Ltd., which markets specialty steel products such as tool and die and machinery steels, wire rope, chains and related hardware items.

Ringball, a wholesale distributor and factory outlet for ball and roller bearings and power transmission products, sells to distributors and large OEMs. The company operates branch and warehouse facilities in Montreal, Winnipeg, Edmonton and Vancouver.

Also, says president Heino Knoop, Ringball recently formed an alliance with the Thomson division of Danaher LMS to sell its linear motion products. The Thomson product range will be stocked in all of Ringball’s locations.
