Gates new Eliminator belt is engineered to replace any RPP (reinforced parabolic profile) tooth profile belt of the same width and comparable length, while providing double the service life of other RPP belts. (RPP is a registered trademark of Carlisle Power Transmission Products Inc.) Designed to run on existing RPP sprockets and idlers, and with the same tension as the original RPP belt, Eliminator is interchangeable with as many as four competitive RPP belts, thereby reducing inventory costs for users. To help users specify its belts, Gates has developed online and printed versions of a crossover matrix chart that lists popular RPP belts by part number, along with the Eliminator replacement belt part number.
