Dwyer Instruments has introduced the model PIT pocket-size infrared thermometer. This portable instrument attaches to any pant or shirt pocket with a sturdy mounting clip. It can be field-selected to read in F or C, and its compact size and single-button operation allow users to take quick, accurate temperature readings. Features include measurement range of minus 33C to 220C (minus 27F to 428F), accuracy of plus or minus 2%, resolution of 0.1F or C, distance-to-target ratio of 1:1, and emissivity fixed at 0.95. Weight is 113.4 g (4 oz).
