The current edition of the Sumitomo Hyponic gearmotor features a more compact, modular housing, maintenance-free grease lubrication, quiet and leak-free operation and higher efficiencies. Hyponic options include C-Face configurations, plug-in solid shafts, inverter-duty motors and washdown construction. Sumitomo’s patented all-steel hypoidal gear technology is extremely high-performance and more efficient than worm gearing across ratios from 10:1 to 1,440:1 and input power from 15 watts to 7.5 hp.
