End Prep Tool Clamps Securely To Tube Exterior

An O. D. clamping end prep tool for bevelling, facing and boring highly alloyed, small-bore heavy-wall header tubes and water wall boiler tubes has been introduced by Esco Tool. The C-Hog Millhog tool features a massive clamp that attaches to the outside of the tube, minimizes chatter and vibrat i on, and allows the cutter blade to prep quickly. Equipped with a ratchet feed providing over 1 in. of stroke, this lightweight tool is suitable for use on tubes with a high percentage of chrome. It has a narrow body to fit between 1-1/8-in. membrane boiler tubes and a working range of 1/2 in. to 2-1/2 in.
