EASA Product News: Helical shaft mount reducer gets new look

Emerson Power Transmission has introduced a redesigned Browning helical shaft mount reducer line, incorporating a single tapered bushing mounting system that is reversible, allowing the bushing to mount from either side. Also included is a tapered stabilizer ring that minimizes wobble and resists fretting corrosion. The line also incorporates a newly designed barrier seal system, which combines a v-ring face seal, grease-filled labyrinth and rotating outer flinger to provide triple protection against contamination and oil seal damage. The new design provides increased horsepower ratings, permitting downsizing in many applications.
