Milwaukee Electric Tool has introduced an 18-V cordless combination circular saw kit, Model 0934-29, for professional tradespeople who work with metal studs and tubing. This kit contains a 6-1/2-in. metal-cutting circular saw, Lok-Tor 1/2-in. hammer-drill, Sawzall the Hatchet reciprocating saw, work light, two batteries, charger, metal-cutting circular saw blade, two packs of Sawzall blades, safety glasses and a soft-sided contractor bag. The ergonomically designed saw features a Milwaukee-built motor that develops 3,200 rpm for fast cutting. The long-life blade produces a smooth, burr-free edge and cuts to a depth of 2-1/8 in. in one pass. A six-position pivoting handle makes this tool extremely compact. Only 13 in. when fully pivoted, it easily fits between 16 in. on centre studs and between rafters and joists. The company’s Model 0624 Lok-Tor 18-V T-handle hammer/drill has a reversible battery for working in tight spaces and better balance for overhead work. Featuring 495 in.-lb of torque and hammer action at 25,500 blows per minute, this tool can be used to drill and set anchors in concrete. It also can be used as a drill or screwdriver.
