Canadian Belt Distributor Joins Ptda

Modular Belt Mfg. Inc. of Mississauga, Ont., is one of the newest distributor members of the Power Transmission Distributors Association (PTDA) of Chicago.

The association also added Advanced Rubber & Plastics Co. Inc., Perrysburg, Ohio; Bearings & Drives Unlimited, Souderton, Pa.; Control Plus Inc., Augusta, Ga.; and Southwest Bearing Co., Roswell, N.M., during the first quarter of 2003.

Distributor members receive a number of benefits designed to provide solutions to grow their business, improve net profitability, strengthen manufacturer relationships, apply plant floor technologies and to provide access to industry trends, according to the PTDA.

The association represents over 220 power transmission/motion control (PT/MC) distributor firms with almost 3,000 locations throughout North America and 14 countries, as well as over 180 manufacturers that supply the PT/MC industry.
