Don Latham has been appointed president of Canadian Bearings Ltd., Mississauga, Ont. For the past 18 years he has held several sales and marketing positions with the industrial distributor, including vice-president – Ontario.

Latham also was elected to a one-year team as president of the Power Transmission Distributors Association (PTDA) at its annual meeting in New Orleans in October. PTDA is a Chicago-based industry association of global distributors and manufacturers.

Prior to joining Canadian Bearings, Latham spent 15 years in the specialty steel business with Atlas Steels. He received his B.Sc. in Metallurgical Engineering at Queens University in Kingston, Ont., and his MBA from McMaster University in Hamilton, Ont.

Canadian Bearings is a Canadian-based industrial distributor with 38 branches that has achieved significant revenue growth recently from its supply management solutions for major clients, comments CEO Farrokh Khalili.
