Poor bearing fitting is a frequent cause of premature bearing failures. SKF’s TMFT 36 bearing fitting tool kit is designed for quick and precise mounting of bearings. The right combination of impact ring and sleeve allows effective transmission of mounting force to the bearing ring with the interference fit, minimizing the risk of damaging the bearing’s raceways or rolling elements. The kit contains 36 impact rings, three impact sleeves and a dead-blow hammer, packed in a lightweight case.
