Association members gather to share ideas

Variety was the key at the annual winter meeting of IDI Independent Distributors Inc. at the Delta Meadowvale Hotel & Convention Centre in Mississauga, Ont., in January.

Various committee and member meetings took place throughout the event, and two tours–of the IDI warehouse and Peel Industrial’s facilities– proved popular.

A highlight of the event was a dinner at La Marche in Toronto, followed by a tour of the Hockey Hall of Fame, as was the traditional tabletop display by suppliers at the IDI Mart & Buying Show.

EASA Ontario Chapter

The Ontario Chapter of EASA, the Electrical Apparatus Service Association, also met at the end of January, at the Sheraton Centre hotel complex in downtown Toronto. The Annual General Meeting & Tradeshow featured technical seminars and a tabletop trade show, both popular with those who attended. Registration totaled 278 members, affiliates and guests.
