AC Drive Suits Severe Washdown Applications

The Reliance SP600 AC drive from Rockwell Automation features a NEMA 4X/12 and IEC IP66 enclosure. The compact, full-featured drive is offered in a tamper-proof and dust-tight enclosure specifically for the harsh environments and washdown conditions of the food and beverage industry. It can withstand a direct spray of water pressure up to 1,000 psi and protects against dust particles as small as 75 microns. Features include a built-in keypad with LCD graphic display. The totally sealed operator interface module allows local configuration, control and monitoring, even in harsh environments. The drives are equipped with snubber (dynamic) braking, DC injection braking and a built-in seventh transistor for controlling fast deceleration and high inertia loads.
