Asset Management Association of Canada (PEMAC) and the Society for Maintenance and Reliability Professionals (SMRP) entered a memorandum of understanding to explore opportunities to partner for years to come.
The associations have been collaborating for over 10 years on the Global Forum of Maintenance and Asset Management (GFMAM) and are two of the founding partners of the World Partners in Asset Management, working closing on initiatives including the Global Certification Scheme in Asset Management.
PEMAC and SMRP have identified various avenues to expand their collaboration through focused attention on education, certification and networking opportunities.
“With PEMAC’s focus of enabling excellence in maintenance, reliability, and asset management through collaboration, applied learning, and leadership, we are proud to partner with SMRP towards this common goal,” said Jean-Pierre Pascoli, president of board of directors, PEMAC. “We look forward to expanding the relationship we have built while collaborating globally and will continue to work together further promoting excellence in the profession across industries and sectors.”
