PEMAC’s MainTrain returns in person

Canada’s largest annual maintenance and physical asset management conference exhibition, MainTrain, is back and will be in person for the first time since 2019. Taking place at the FourPoints by Sheraton Toronto Airport from September 19-21, the event will be hybrid allowing for online accessibility.

The three-day conference will include an exhibitor area where media sponsor MRO, from Annex Business Media will be located. Attendees can expect over 50 presentations, workshops and courses including topics of maintainability and reliability best practices, uptime improvement tailoring, and evolving practices during a clean technology transition.

Each day will start with a keynote prestation; Ron Bettin, president of Adduco Consulting will discuss asset management strategy, Jeremy Sylvain, maintenance supervisor and coordinatorfrom NAES, will discuss investing in businesses greatest asset, people. On the final day DanakaPorter, regional managing partner from Iota Consultants will deliver a talk on maintaining reliability times.

Panel discussions will cover emerging trends in the industry, the supply chain in a post pandemic world and all the need-to-know info around MRO. Such programming includes; impact of electrification on long-term infrastructure decision-making, transforming a 120 year old company, planning and scheduling ROI – why aren’t you achieving it?, and demystifying the digital twin and achieving whole life asset intelligence for sustainable operations.

An awards dinner will take place on the evening of September 20, to celebrate recipients and provide networking opportunities.
