Ministry of Labour investigating after auto repair employee dies on the job

SAUGEEN SHORES, Ont. – Police say an auto repair shop employee died on the job in southwestern Ontario.

Police in Saugeen Shores, Ont., say they responded to a workplace incident on Thursday for reports that a 54-year-old man was injured while working on a car.

They say he was taken to hospital and later pronounced dead.

Police did not identify the man.

Police say the Ministry of Labour has been notified.
