Handling Specialty’s Russell Johnston has been awarded the George Burwash Langford Memorial award from the Council of the Ontario Association of Certified Engineering Technicians and Technologists.
“I would like to thank and express my gratitude to all those involved in nominating me for this award,” said Johnston. “Receiving the George Burwash Langford Memorial Award is a great honour and a highlight of my career!”
Johnston, Advanced Engineering Specialist, has been with the company for nearly 20 years, and has held several roles.
As an
engineer, George Burwash Langford felt a strong sense of public responsibility that led him into many fields of interest including starting the Great Lakes Institute and helping develop the Canadian mining industry.
