New Gold Appoint CFO

New Gold Inc. has named Robert J. Chausse as Executive Vice-President and Chief Financial Officer. He brings over 25 years of international finance experience, exclusively in the mining sector. He takes over for Paula Myson.

Most recently, Chausse was CFO at Richmont Mines Inc., prior to this he was CFO at Stornoway Diamonds (2016) and Executive Vice-President and CFO of AuRico Gold (2013 to 2015). Also, he was Vice-President of Finance, Operations and Projects for Kinross Gold (2009 to 2013), and CFO for Baffinland Iron Mines Corporation (2006 to 2009) and held increasingly senior positions with Barrick Gold (1998 to 2006).
