JELD-WEN Acquires Aneeta Window Systems

JELD-WEN, the world’s largest manufacturer of windows and doors, has announced the acquisition of Aneeta Window Systems (Aneeta), an industry-leading manufacturer and supplier of sashless windows in Australia. Terms of the acquisition were not disclosed.

Since 1994, Aneeta Windows has specialized in the manufacturing of sashless windows, an innovative system that features two moving panes of counterbalanced glass, without the bulk of a timber or aluminum sash frame surrounding the glass. Based in Melbourne, Aneeta currently operates in Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, Perth and Adelaide. The company has licensing agreements in the U.S., New Zealand and The Philippines. Aneeta also exports products to Singapore and Mexico, and is exploring other opportunities for international growth.

The addition of Aneeta expands JELD-WEN’s family of brands in Australia, which also includes Stegbar, Corinthian, Regency, Airlite, William Russell Doors and JELD-WEN Glass.
