Motion Institute Now Offers Simulcast Maintenance Training

Motion Industries Inc. of Birmingham, Ala., a distributor of industrial maintenance, repair and operations (MRO) replacement parts, reports that its training group, The Motion Institute, now offers simulcast (simultaneous broadcast) training capabilities. Motion customers with multiple locations can book an instructor-led, hands-on class at one plant site with simulcast classes to any other locations within the United States and Canada.

Special offerings for Summer 2006 include courses such as Basic Troubleshooting Skills, Maintenance Supervisor Training, and Bearing and Power Transmission Training. Many of the courses are available both hands-on and via the web.

Founded in 1988, the Motion Industries training program evolved into The Motion Institute of Technical Training & Personal Development, offering product training, industry-specific process training, industrial certification programs, sales/management training, customized and in-plant classes and continuing education classes. The institute has trained more than 8,000 people in the past five years alone.
