PEMAC Asset Management Association of Canada announced that it issued its 2000th Maintenance Management Professional (MMP) certification earlier this month.
The MMP program provides practitioners with the strategies, techniques, tools and skills necessary for effective management of a business’s physical assets. Successful completion of the eight-module program leads to the widely recognized MMP certification.
MMP certification holders represent a variety of roles, including maintenance and reliability managers, superintendents, coordinators, planners and schedulers working in public and private sector organizations, responsible for operations and maintenance of complex or critical physical assets.
Established for more than 30 years, the program is now delivered live online, in person, and as private offerings through PEMAC’s teaching institution partners in English and French.
“PEMAC celebrates the tremendous achievements of all those who have achieved the MMP certification,” said Nicolle Guillen, PEMAC Manager of Education and Professional Development. “The certification establishes their credibility and demonstrates a commitment to continuous learning. The many organizations that recognize MMP as a requirement for their teams and potential team members are a testament to the value of the MMP certification.”
