Ridgid has introduced the Ridgid RP 330 pressing tool, offered in a corded plug-in power (RP 330-C) or a battery (RP 300-B) version. Both models make quick connections. The battery-operated model uses an 18-V lithium-ion battery for more presses per battery charge. Features include 270- degree jaw rotation, a flattened top for accessibility in confined areas, and a new gear ratio that improves performance in cold temperatures. Servicing interval is 30,000 cycles, up from the 20,000 cycles of previous models. The tool presses 1/2-in. to 4-in. joints and is compatible with all standard Ridgid pressing jaws.
A three-or six-jaw kit is offered with both models. The battery model includes two batteries and a charger.
