SKF LLT profile rail guides offer long service life

October 3, 2018 | By Mario Cywinski

SKF Motion Technologies, Inc., provide SKF LLT profile rail guides which offer smooth running performance, high precision and accuracy, and long service life with minimal maintenance.

LLT guides have ball circuits placed in an X-arrangement, optimizing load sharing in all four main load directions and accommodates moment loads, while maintaining self-aligning capability. This also compensates for mounting deviations, even under preload, contributing to smooth running performance under a variety of operating conditions.

Guides are available in sizes 15-45 with rail sizes up to 4000mm in a single piece with longer lengths available as attached rails. LLT guides are available with a variety of preload and precision classes, mounting configurations, and accessories. They can resist temperatures up to 100ºC and achieve speeds up to five m/s.

LLT guides are supplied ready-to-mount and are factory pre-lubricated. Carriages are equipped with end seals, side seals, and inner seals, and internal lubrication reservoir for extended maintenance intervals.
