In a bid to reduce workplace injuries and manufacturing downtime, Darcor hosts web seminars (‘webinars’) and uses them to establish the connection between lower caster rolling resistance and reduced over-exertion injuries, as well as better-built casters and reduced maintenance and downtime. The basic thrust of these online seminars is that a relatively small expenditure on the company’s casters can generate a major, and immediate, return on investment. Initial webinars were aimed at automotive plants, but the program is currently being expanded to include a variety of other manufacturers. Numbers of virtual attendees are kept low to allow time for discussion of issues and response to specific questions. Darcor
