The Model 6-V oil recovery system from Oil Skimmers efficiently removes oily wastes that float on the surface of the water. A collector tube skims oil from the water surface and is drawn into the oil skimmer, where scrapers remove the oil from the tube. The clean tube then returns to the water to skim more oil. It can skim up to 100 gal. per hour. Designed to operate unattended 24 hours a day, seven days a week, the system transports the recovered oil to a collection container. It can be installed on pits, ponds and open or closed tanks.
