Raytek has introduced the MIC G5 miniature digital temperature sensor, which offers a 5-micron spectral response and a temperature range of 150C to 850C (300F to 1,560F). Designed for use in glass processing applications, this infra-red instrument is a two-piece unit comprising a miniature, stainless steel sensing head and a microprocessor-based array of full-featured electronics with a five-digit backlit LCD interface for simple set-up. The sensor measures 14 mm (0.55 in.) in diameter by 28 mm (1.1 in.) in length.
