Designed to provide electrical safety for mine workers, the A-Isometer IR420 series isolation monitors from Bender boost the safety of large AC-powered mining machines. The series monitors the insulation resistance of ungrounded AC systems up to 300 V. The response range is steplessly adjustable from 1 kOhm to 200 kOhm, and values are displayed on a seven-segment LCD. A large range of supply voltages can be applied to the unit. By connecting an external supply voltage, it also allows de-energized systems to be monitored. Features include internal and external test/reset buttons, self-monitoring with automatic alarm message, digital alarms with two separate alarm relays, and a connection monitoring system.
